Right Sharing of World Resources has team members in Guatemala, India, Kenya, Sierra Leone, and the United States.

Guatemala

Eva Ramirez

Eva Ramírez has lived her entire life in Esquipulas, Chiquimula. Since she was little, she has promoted values like those of Quakerism. She firmly believes in the mission of RSWR, to bring a light of hope to women, their families and communities. After teaching for years she wished to continue serving her community.  Working with women’s groups allows her to fully enjoy her work. Eva has a degree in Pedagogy and Educational Administration from the University of San Carlos of Guatemala. In her free time, she spends time with her daughter and her dog. She also enjoys running and reading.

Ruth Bueso is one of the Country Coordinators in Guatemala. She grew up in Copán, Honduras and learned about Quakerism as a child from her grandfather. At the age of 25 (2001) she met her husband who is Pastor of the “Embajadores Amigos” church, in Chiquimula, Guatemala. They have two children. Ruth has a degree in Pedagogy with a specialty in Mathematics and Physics. Her ministry in the church and her experience as a teacher motivated her to work at RSWR because it gives her a greater opportunity to support women in all areas of her lives. In her free time she likes to read.

India

Abinaya Murugesan

Abinaya Murugesan (Abi) is one of the three Country Coordinators in India Abi is from rural Madurai, Tamil Nadu. She finds spirituality through a connection with humanity and as a non-Quaker very much respects the values of Quakerism. Her grandmother was a leader of a women’s group. Abi is a dentist by profession, having a master’s in public health she was naturally driven towards working for communities. She loves dancing and prefers to spend time with her family.

Purushotham Nallandala

N. Purushotham  is one of the three Indian Country Coordinators. He was born and brought up in the remote villages of Andhra Pradesh. Purushotham holds a Master’s degree in Social Work along with a P. G. Diploma in Management of NGOs at EDII, Ahmedabad, Gujarat State. 

During his studies between 2000-2010, he trained and worked on Right Sharing Projects in Andhra Pradesh & Tamil Nadu. He has a good understanding of Quakerism and its values, which help resource the underprivileged with dignity, especially women. Between 2011 and 2020 Purushotham volunteered in the implementation of Right Sharing programs, trainings and projects along with Dr.R. Kannan.

Dr. R. Kannan Ramalimgam

R. Kannan is one of the three Country Coordinators in India. Kannan was born and raised in a remote village in the Madurai district of Tamil Nadu. Through his father and peers, he had acquired the knowledge and interest in community development as a child. His father was a social activist, fighting for the rights of the poor, against old ideologies, superstitions, and traditional inhuman practices. 

Kannan holds a Master’s degree in Peace and Gandhian Thought and a Ph.D. He’s very close to Quakerism and its ideals, because they share the same spirit and principles with Gandhian thinking. He became acquainted with visiting Quakers and RSWR board members when he was a student of Gandhian studies at Madurai Kamaraj University in India. He farms and gardens in his free time.

Kenya

Ambeva Gentrix (Genty) grew up in Vihiga County, Kenya, where she was born and raised among Quakers at Viyalo Friends Church, Chavakali Yearly Meeting, and she remains an active member there today. This lifelong connection to Quakerism has shaped her faith, grounding it in principles of equality, peace, and communal discernment that guide her daily life. As an active member in community work, RSWR found her fit to step in for a member on leave, and she was absorbed into the organization three months later, discovering a profound alignment with its mission. She holds a degree in Community Resource Management from Kenyatta University. In her spare time, Genty enjoys reading books, studying the word, and maintaining her fitness through physical exercises and long walks.

Lotan Migaliza

Lotan Migaliza conducts the in-depth Business Management training for newly funded groups. He joined RSWR at its inception in Kenya in 2004 as a Volunteer in the area of Training and Women group mobilization. Lotan has been Quaker since embracing the Christian faith in the 1970s. He is a Kenyan residing in the Western part of the country that borders Uganda in East Africa. In his youth he worked for the Kenya Government as a Tax Collector for a number of years before he went back to college to complete his degree.  He received his undergraduate degree and a Masters In Sociology specializing in Rural Sociology and Community Development.  He says “I am still “hooked” on RSWR ideals after all these years! When I (must be honest- there is no time that I consider to be free) have some free time, I am busy reading and writing some notes here and there.”

Pauline Andisi Musinga

Pauline Andisi Musinga is a Country Coordinator in Kenya.  She offers initial Capacity Building training for newly identified groups. She assists them in registering as an official women’s group with the Kenyan government. She also helps them set up their membership and account books and instructs them on how to keep their records properly.

Samson Ababu


Samson Ababu
is the Kenya Program Director. He seeks out new groups that could benefit from RSWR funding and introduces Right Sharing to them. He oversees all the programming, assessing the needs of each group and arranging and attending all trainings. Additionally, he keeps on touch with all of the past funded groups

Sierra Leone

Sallian Sankoh is the Sierra Leone Country Coordinator. She lives in Freetown, the capital city of Sierra Leone.  Sallian began her professional life as a teacher and she holds degrees in community development studies, agriculture and entrepreneurship. She became involved with RSWR when the former General Secretary, Betty Tonsing, visited Sierra Leone and the YMCA where Sallian was a Gender Expert for women. Sallian loves her work and is a strong advocate for women and communities. Sallian is a Methodist and is a leader in her church.  She loves Christianity and is deeply connected to spirituality and the word of God. In her spare time she loves reading, listening to gospel songs, prayer, and dancing.

Sibella Swaray is the Assistant Country Coordinator for Sierra Leone. She works closely with Sallian in identifying and helping vulnerable women groups across Sierra Leone to develop project proposals for Right Sharing of World Resources grants. She learned about Right Sharing through its connections to the YMCA in Freetown.  Sibella assesses and verifies ongoing funded project activities in communities and monitors beneficiaries’ project activities. She advocates for bigger pieces of land and project sites on behalf of project beneficiaries from key community stakeholders.  Sibella also evaluates project activities, recommends projects for funding, and organizes community meetings for beneficiaries.

United States

Melissa Bennett

Melissa Bennett is the Executive Assistant. She is excited to support Right Sharing of World Resource’s mission in the world. Ordained in the Church of the Brethren since 2002, Melissa is also a part-time chaplain at a local hospital. She and her spouse have worked to raise their children in the values of Kingian Nonviolence and Beloved Community. She currently resides in Eastern Pennsylvania and loves to laugh, knit, and listen with loved ones far and near.

Megan Fair is the Director of Advancement. Born and raised in rural Ohio, Megan began attending Quaker meeting as a teenager, which compelled her to go to Guilford College in Greensboro, NC where she studied Peace and Conflict Studies and Nonprofit Management. She has served in various development and administrative roles in the nonprofit sector over the last decade. Megan believes that RSWR offers a unique opportunity for supporters to work towards equity through meaningful partnerships with women around the world. She is moved by those who seek to unburden themselves from the weight of materialism and recognize the impacts of our choices and history in an interconnected world.

Ventina Hershey is the Director of Finance.  She is an active Member of Mount Holly Quaker Meeting in South Jersey within Philadelphia Yearly Meeting.  She has had various employment opportunities including serving as Director of Finance and Operations at Haddonfield Friends School, as Business Coordinator for PYM, and prior to that as an Internal Auditor of the IRS.  She has an MBA with a Strategic Leadership Certificate and an Accounting Degree from Rutgers School of Business.  Ventina has served as treasurer for her Meeting and TriQuarter Gathering – SJ, served on PYM’s Administrative Counsel, on the board of Friends Academy of Westampton, and on the Board of the South Jersey Organic Gardeners Club.  Ventina loves organic Gardening, native plants and kayaking.  She is also very creative, particularly enjoying creating quilts from repurposed and unwanted fabrics like our grandmothers did.   Ventina enjoys preparing food and being hospitable and nurturing in her home, in her meeting, and beyond.  She is excited to have recently become certified as an AVP facilitator. Ventina is looking forward to partnering with women by providing some of the tools and support needed for RSWR partners to make self-directed, long-lasting changes in the lives of their families and for generations to come. 

Yasmin Khan

Yasmin Khan is the Director of Community Development at Right Sharing of World Resources. She grew up in Chicago in a multicultural family (Indian father, Italian-American mother) and now calls New Mexico home. A journalist for more than two decades, she has reported across the U.S., Mexico, and Bolivia, focusing on refugees, migrants, and low-wage workers. She holds a Ph.D. in Human Geography and Women & Gender Studies (University of Toronto) and two master’s degrees from the University of New Mexico in Community & Regional Planning and Water Resource Management. Her work spans Rohingya refugee and Bangladeshi host communities, coastal Mexico (planning, water, and fishing livelihoods through a gender lens), teaching on gender and dryland agriculture in India, and research on climate impacts on traditional water-sharing in Northern New Mexico. She’s deeply connected to Right Sharing’s mission of women’s economic development and non-hierarchical community support, and loves hiking and camping with her dog Roxy.  

Nathan Kleban

Nathan Kleban is the Program & Advancement Associate. Nathan is inspired by RSWR’s mission and enjoys a Friendly organizational work culture. In his past Nathan has served as an environmental volunteer with the Peace Corps in Mali, lived and served in Catholic Worker communities which he continues to support, worked as a Park Manager in Vermont, and has been and continues to be actively involved with the Alternatives to Violence Project, on local and international levels. He currently lives in Iowa City.

Traci Hjelt Sullivan

Traci Hjelt Sullivan is the Executive Director of Right Sharing of World Resources. Traci comes to RSWR with decades of non-profit management experience. She spent a year as the Interim Executive Director for Pendle Hill. Prior to that, Traci worked for Friends General Conference for 13 years, first as the Manager of the FGC Gathering and later as Associate Secretary for Development. She and her husband ran the Ben Lomond Quaker Center, a Quaker conference and retreat center in northern California. During elementary school, Traci and her family lived in Ethiopia, Zambia and Botswana.  As an adult, she has visited or briefly worked in Guatemala, Mexico, Kenya, Rwanda, Niger, and Jamaica. Traci has been active among Friends for more than thirty years. She is a member of Green Street Friends Meeting in Philadelphia, and is currently worshiping at Chapel Hill Friends Meeting in North Carolina.
