RELATIONSHIP TO RSWR
From Dr. R. Kannan's site visit report, "SHERDP formed 50 self-help groups. Awareness generation programs on environment, AIDS, women's health, naturopathy and animal welfare have been organized with assistance from government and public donations. The living situation of the women is pathetic. They are all interested in taking up the new initiatives. Proposed income generation activities have good potential for developmentī."
